At argenx, every piece of the innovation story connects. See where it leads next.
Propelling Possibilities in Immunology
Co-creation is what drives us. It allows us to engage with inventive minds, work seamlessly, and accelerate innovation. The result is a portfolio of programs and therapies that show the true power of co-creation and the impact it can have on people’s lives.
Portfolio of Programs
Efgartigimod
TARGET: FcRn
Efgartigimod (previously ARGX-113) was built with a pioneer in FcRn biology, Prof. E. Sally Ward, Ph.D. Designed as a human IgG1 antibody Fc fragment, it is a natural ligand of the neonatal Fc receptor (FcRn). Efgartigimod has been engineered for increased affinity to FcRn.

Ph.D.
Adimanebart
TARGET: MuSK
Adimanebart (previously ARGX-119) was developed in partnership with
Maartje Huijbers, Ph.D., Associate Professor and Research Group Leader at Leiden University Medical Center, and Steve Burden, Ph.D. Adimanebart is a humanized monoclonal antibody (mAb) designed to activate muscle-specific kinase (MuSK), adimanebart redefined what’s possible in antibody therapies.
Steve Burden, Ph.D.

ARGX-118
TARGET: Galectin-10
ARGX-118 was a co-creation with Prof. Bart Lambrecht, M.D., Ph.D., who identified the first novel airway target in decades. It was designed as a highly differentiated antibody against galectin-10, the protein of Charcot-Leyden crystals, which are a major contributor to severe asthma and persistent mucus plugs.
Prof. Bart
Lambrecht, M.D., Ph.D.
ARGX-115
TARGET: GARP
ARGX-115 (now ABBV-151) was built in partnership with Prof. Sophie Lucas, M.D., Ph.D., a leader in checkpoint biology research for decades. Designed as a humanized monoclonal antibody inhibitor of GARP-TGF-β1, it is currently in development by AbbVie for the treatment of cancer.

M.D., Ph.D.
Immunology Innovation Program (IIP) Interaction
Partnership is core to who we are. IIP allows us to work alongside leading academic and clinical researchers. Together, we’re driven by our shared ambition of removing boundaries, simplifying complexities, and unlocking breakthrough therapies.

ARGX-118
ARGX-118 is the result of a partnership to try to address airway inflammation in a different way.
Adimanebart
Discovered through our SIMPLE Antibody™ platform and advanced within the IIP, adimanebart is the result of true co-creation.
Efgartigimod
Efgartigimod is being investigated in a range of autoimmune indications where IgG antibodies are a mediator of disease.
