Immunology Innovation Program

Expanding Possibilities Through Entrepreneurial Science

Entrepreneurial science means pursuing bold pathways over conventional ones. And nowhere is that clearer than how we work with others through our Immunology Innovation Program (IIP).

IIP Is Invention and
Co-Creation in Action

At argenx, we’re committed to seeking out the seeds of innovation and helping them grow. Our IIP is the key. It helps us partner with leading academic and clinical researchers all over the world to advance breakthrough immunology insights.

It’s a partnership based on working closely and sharing resources. We combine their deep disease and target biology expertise
with our world-class antibody engineering and development capabilities. The goal: to transform promising ideas into
groundbreaking antibody therapies.

A Shared Commitment

The most successful partnerships are built on shared purpose. For those in the IIP, that goal is pushing novel immunology insights into differentiated antibody-based medicines. And it’s made possible by a mutual dedication to transparency, long-term commitment, and shared success.

The IIP reflects how argenx works best. Alongside collaborators, we strive to advance science that has the potential to redefine what’s possible for patients.

Collective Creations

Adimanebart

Adimanebart

Adimanebart (previously ARGX-119) was developed in partnership with Maartje Huijbers, Ph.D., and Steve Burden, Ph.D., to activate muscle-specific kinase.

ARGX-115

ARGX-115

ARGX-115 (now ABBV-151) was built in collaboration with Prof. Sophie Lucas, M.D., P.hD., as humanized monoclonal antibody inhibitor of GARP-TGF-β1.

ARGX-118

ARGX-118

ARGX-118 was created with Prof. Bart Lambrecht, M.D., P.hD., as a highly differentiated antibody against Galectin-10.

Efgartigimod

Efgartigimod

Built in collaboration with Prof. E. Sally Ward, Ph.D., Efgartigimod designed as a human IgG1 antibody Fc-fragment, a natural ligand of the neonatal Fc receptor (FcRn).

The Power of Partnerships

The Power of Partnerships

To us Partnership is part of our DNA core to who we are. IIP allows us to work alongside leading academic and clinical researchers. Together we’re driven by our shared ambition of removing boundaries, simplifying complexities, and unlocking breakthrough therapies.

Turning Immunology Innovation Into Patient Impact

Hear real stories from the IIP that showcase how we’re
co-creating extraordinary science to deliver life-changing impact for people who need it.

Let’s Innovate Together

Respect for our partners’ vision and expertise is the bedrock of the IIP. If you have a spirit for scientific entrepreneurship, we would like to hear about what you’re doing. We offer antibody engineering capabilities and a pathway to convert immunology breakthroughs into clinical development candidates.

Together we can innovate faster for people who need progress now.
